Looking for a MAC address in a local network with wireshark

1. Search the MAC adress in the computer I want to control if it’s connected to the network.

2. Install wireshark in linux.

3. Run wireshark like root user.

4. Start capture.

5. To filter a MAC address write in “filter”:

eth.addr == 00:08:15:00:08:15(the MAC address)

and apply.
