Oregon RMS600 Weather Station in Linux

I’ve tried wview. In wview webpage it seems that wview can work with RMS600, but it couldn’t get it. The matter is that de daemon wview can’t initialize, because is always waiting the wind, pressure and rain sensors to initialize, and wview hasn’t this sensors. Maybe in future releases they improve it.

Then I tried wfrog, but it couldn’t recognize my station. I think by the same reason.

Finally I found that link http://www.linuxvector.com/post/Using-Oregon-Scientific-RMS300-%28and-WMR100%2C-WMR200%29-USB-Data-Logging-Weather-Stations-with-Ubuntu-Linux

That link brought me to https://github.com/barnybug/wmr100

It’s a little program that can archieve the data from the RMS600 and store them in a data file (data.log). I only colud use it as root, althought they theach how to use it as normal user, adding udev rules.

The problem now is how use the data stored in data.log
